Can i bring a non-hunter with me?
Yes, If a non-hunting person would like to stay at camp with the party a $250.00 fee per week will be added.
Where is the closest airport?
Bangor International Airport
Can i get picked up from the airport?
Yes, if you decide to not get a rental vehicle we can accomodate picking your party up.
What type of stands do you hunt in?
We hunt in either ground blinds or tree stands.
How do i get my hunting license?
To hunt in Maine, you’ll need to purchase a valid Maine hunting license. This can be done online through the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife or in person at authorized retailers.
Important: The bear tag that comes with the general hunting license is not the correct tag for our guided bear hunts. That tag is only valid for hunting bear while deer hunting, which is not how we operate.
If you’re hunting bear with us, you’ll need to purchase a separate bear hunting permit—this is the correct tag for your guided hunt.
Don’t worry if you’re unsure or haven’t bought the right one ahead of time. We can help you take care of everything when you arrive. We’re fully set up to assist you with purchasing the correct bear tag and making sure all your paperwork is in order before the hunt.
How much is a hunting license?
These Prices May Change Between Seasons
- Resident Adult (16 and older): $26.00
- Non-Resident Adult (16 and older): $115.00
- Resident Youth (under 16): $8.00
- Non-Resident Youth (under 16): $35.00
- Resident Bear Permit: $10.00
- Non-Resident Bear Permit: $74.00
What is included with the hunt?

What should i bring with me for the hunt?
All Hunts:
Safety harness is required for any elevated stand use.
Bear Hunts:
Blaze orange is not required.
Camouflage is recommended for better concealment.
Moose Hunts:
Blaze orange is required.
Hunters must wear at least one article of solid blaze orange (such as a hat, vest, or jacket) that is visible from all sides.
Turkey Hunts:
Blaze orange is not required.
Full camouflage is recommended to remain hidden from turkeys’ sharp eyesight.
